All the group in today’s and last class’s presentations were really good. Every group had very interesting, and good information. I learned how many child soldiers were in the world, and which countries they were coming from. I learned why they were soldiers and what the UN was doing about it. I learned a lot about the air pollution and what was being done about it. The thing that I learned most about was about HIV and AIDS.  I learned where you got the disease, ex. sharing needles, and unprotected sex. I learned how many people it was affecting.
What would you change to improve your project/presentation if you were to do the assignment again?
If I were to do the presentation again I would add more info and pictures. I would also slow the info and pictures down. We had two songs, the first song was good but the second one was bad. I t was accident while we were downloading it. I would add a citation page at the end, like some of the other groups.

Question: Should the five permanent members of the Security Council continue to retain their veto power? Why or why not?
Answer: No, I don’t think the five permanent members of the Security Council should have Veto power because then it is unfair for the next persons turn, because then they don’t have a chance in what they want to say. That is why I think no, so that every person who comes I power has a say. Also because then there isn’t just one rule that people have to follow by. So then when the next person comes they can say what they think and they change the old rule.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE? The issue is that a three year old little girl, called Madeleine McCann went missing on Thursday night. The family were at Portagul at the time and were on holiday. The parents were eating out, but were checking on the little girl every now and then. When they came back they saw the blinds all messed up.

WHO IS AFFECTED AND HOW? The little girl ( Madelince) because she might be hurt. The police because they have to find her and lock up the intruder. The family are involved because they must be scared because they dont know where she is, sad because they miss her. The intruder because he or she has taken her and the police are after him or her.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE DIRECTLY INVOLVED? If i was directly involved i would be speaking to the police every day, asking if they had heard anything about the case. I would be puting out posters all over the town. I would be out every day, knocking on doors, warning people.

Today in class I learned so much more about Egyptian gods and goddess. All my classmates were fantastic. All there costomes were funky and creative. I learned alot about Set and how evil and that if anyone does not like him they will die. It was so interesting. Nick did a fantastic job at it. Some things i found interesting was how those goddess and gods looked. And how important they were to the egyptian people.
If I could change my presentattion I would. I would speak much more clearly. I would also add alot more expression into my words. I woud also also slow down, cause i was scared so I went quite fast. I would of also moved around abit more for an example when i was saying what Hathor was known for which was love , music etc…… i could of done for muisc I could of danced or for love, made a heart shape out of my hands.

I am known as a cow goddess who wears human clothing. Moooo. On the top of my head I have two cow horns. Â Well I am a cow! Between these horns I hold the sun disk. Since I am a cow I have lovely big eyes and long lashes. This represents that I am a gentle beautiful god, no wonder people worship me! Since I am also the god of music I hold a rattle, this rattle is called sistrum. I (Hathor) am indeed a very beautiful and talented goddess and the Egyptian people just adore me.
I am so famous because I am the goddess of many things. Â Love, dancing, music, joy and happiness. I am also known as the sky and star goddess and sometimes the goddess of death. I am the protector of women. I help women when they are pregnant and giving birth. Since I take more care of women, they were the ones who loved me the most.
Why am I so special? (Hathor). Â If any women or man were to go to a social event ( balls, weddings) they would look up to me, because I “Hathor” am the goddess of beauty of course. I give so much joy to these people because of my talents in music and dancing.

What new information had emerged? Some new information that has emerged is that scientists think that if people carry on buring trees and factories and putting smoke into the air that we will all dye sonner. Scientists need peopel to relize how serious this is. Some goverments are bing tougher now with their counrty because it had gotten so bad.
What did you find interesting about this topic? The things i found interesting were that we people are making this happen. By smokeing and driving and burning things. I think it is quite interesting how the scientists think the world will end if this keeps on happening. I aslo find this quite scary because one day no one will be alive becuase of the simpliest things.
What did you like about the intial blog posting? What i like abut this posting is that Willemign didnt pick anything to do with bombs or anything to do with that, she picked something more important. I thought also that she let people now how serious this is getting. I think she did a good job presenting but she knew her informaition. She aslo spoke calmly.

What new information had emerged? Some new information that has occured is that 400,000 people are missing and that 94 people are died and 200,000 are ill.
What did you find interesting about this topic? Some things i found interesting was how many people were missing and how many people were still homeless and were getting no help.
What did you like about the intial blog posting? Even though i did the same current event as Kay Lynn i think she had alot more infroamtion then me and sad it very well. She new what she was talking about. Her words were vey detailed.

What would you change about the final product (the wiki you created) if you were to do the assignment again?
 I would add more details in my information and get more pictures. I would make the pages more exciting.

I think the Ghana empire block E was great. It was good because the paragrapgs were good and they had alot of information. They also organized their pictures very well. Also the pictures match the paragraphs very well.
1. What did you learn from this task?
I learned many things about Africa. Like about their way of life. I also learned about their economy, they had to hunt and fish to get the money. I also learned how to use wikispace much better like how to put in catchy titles from cool text.
2. Did you find this difficult or easy? Why?
I found it both, because sometimes i found it hard to put things in and sometimes really easy because i found out how to do it and i didnt need help.
3. What would you change about the process you went through to complete the wiki if you were to do the assignment again?
I would add more pictures into my pages so the viewers would really understand the meaning of the paragraphs. I would also add more detail in some of my paragraphs.
